Contra Costa College offers a number of vocational programs designed to directly help you get or stay employed. Contra Costa College also offers you a number of transerable academic degrees designed to help you gain comperable knowledge to that of a four year college, except with possibly more individualized attention and support than that found in a four year institution.

The HPC program is a vocational program designed to train you as an HPC administrator, i.e. the one who maintains the HPC hardware. You will learn general system, network, and security administration, sufficient to be hired as as comventional computer administrator. To this we will add the additional traning in the administrative skils unique to HPC. On top of all this, you will have the opportunity to be an HPC intern gaining on the job experience and possibly getting hired in the process.
