HBCU Get on the Plane Spring Break Tour 2024 -Registration Closed
Twelve CCC students will be selected to Get on the Plane and tour HBCUs: Howard University, Delaware State University, Hampton University, Norfolk State University, North Caroline A&T, Bennett University, & North Carolina Central University.
Open to all Contra Costa College students.
APPLICATIONS DUE DATE EXTENDED TO: Friday, December 01, 2023 @ 5:00PM.
Letter of recommendation DUE DATE EXTENDED TO: Monday, December 04, 2023 @ 5pm

Minimum Eligibility criteria include:
• Must have complete 12 transferable units by SUMMER 2023 (does not include PE)
• Must be enrolled at CCC in at least 9 transferable units FALL 2023 (does not include PE)
• Must be enrolled or completed ENGL1A/1AX or a transferable MATH Fall 2023
• Must have a 2.5 GPA in all TRANSFER COURSES end of SUMMER 2023 and have a 2.5 GPA or higher end of FALL 2023 – Use Transferable GPA Calculator https://www.ohlone.edu/transfer/gpacalculator
• Be in Good academic and disciplinary standing at Contra Costa College;
• Show genuine interest by writing a POWERFUL Personal Insight Question (500 – 750 words);
• 1 Letter of Recommendation from a Contra Costa College INSTRUCTIONAL faculty in your MAJOR of STUDY.
• Personal Insight Essay Response (min 500 – 750 words)
