Academic Calendars

You’ll use academic calendars to find things like:

The last day to add a class to your schedule
The last to day drop a class to be eligible for a refund or credit against outstanding fees*
The last day to petition for pass/no pass grading
And, many other important dates you need to know.

Be sure to bookmark this page and put the dates important to you in your calendar!

(One important note: To find deadline dates for fast track / short term classes that last less than 18 weeks, you’ll need to check InSite.)

Registration fees are due at the time of registration. If you decide not to take a course, you will need to drop the course by the last day to be eligible or for a credit on your account to remove outstanding fees. If you do not drop the class by the deadline, you will be responsible for all outstanding fees even if you don’t complete the course.

December 5	Group 4: Continuing and returning students over 100 degree applicable units or on 2nd semester probation/dismissal
January 1	New Year’s Day – college closed
January 6	Group 5: New non-matriculated
January 9	Group 6: Concurrent and transitional high school students
January 10	Group 7: All regular college students open registration
January 20	Martin Luther King, Jr Day – college closed
January 27	First day of Instruction – classes begin
February 1-2	Saturday/Sunday classes begin
February 7	Last day to add full-term class – in person
February 7	Last day to drop full-term classes with eligibility for fee refund or credit
February 7 – In person	Last day to drop full term classes without a “W” appearing on transcript
February 9 – Online	Last day to drop full term classes without a “W” appearing on transcript
February 9	Last day to add a full-term class online
February 10	Census day
February 14	Lincoln’s Birthday – college closed
February 15-16	No Saturday/Sunday classes
February 17	President’s Day – college closed
March 1	Deadline to submit Graduation Petition for spring 2025 term (InSite>Graduation tile) and participate in Spring Commencement
March 23-29	Spring Break – No Classes
April 1	Graduation Petition for summer 2025 graduates becomes available online (InSite>Graduation tile)
April 15	Last day to submit Early Registration Petition for fall 2025
April 25	Last day to withdraw from a full-term course with a “W” appearing on transcript
May 16	Last day to request Pass/No Pass for full term classes (See Short-Term Classes below)
May 17-18	Saturday/Sunday classes end
May 23	Last day of instruction – Spring term ends
May 23	Commencement
May 29	Grades for full term classes due by 11:59pm (See Short-Term Classes below)
May 26	Memorial Day – college closed
May 27	Summer 2025 semester begins
