Engaging with the Community

Our campus is a hub of activity and resources for the entire community. Whether you’re looking to navigate our campus with ease using our detailed map and parking information, attend one of our many exciting events, or rent our state-of-the-art facilities, we have something for everyone. We also invite you to support our mission through donations to the foundation, stay informed about our future goals and initiatives through our college plans, and review our bond report for insights into our financial health. Additionally, you can participate in our governance by accessing committee meeting links and learn about our significant contributions to the local economy through our economic impact reports. Join us in making Contra Costa College a center for learning, growth, and community engagement.

How We Make a Difference

Our most-recent Economic Impact Report found that CCC and its students added $263.3 million in income to the West Contra Costa County economy. That’s roughly equal to 1.5% of the total gross regional product (GRP). During the same year, CCC’s impact supported 3,119 jobs. For perspective, this means that one out of every 29 jobs in West Contra Costa County is supported by the activities of CCC and its students.

In fact, for every $1 spent by…

  • Students – $8.70 is gained in lifetime earnings
  • Taxpayers – $3.50 is gained in added tax revenue and
  • public sector savings
  • Society – $19.30 is gained in added state revenue and
  • social savings

A donation to the Contra Costa College Foundation makes a significant impact on our students’ lives. By contributing, you help provide scholarships, enhance educational programs, and support vital campus resources. Every gift, no matter the size, helps create opportunities for students to achieve their dreams and build a brighter future. Join us in making a difference today!
