It’s never too late to start your college journey. You can earn college credit while exploring various academic and career opportunities!

No matter where you are on your educational journey, Contra Costa College has classes for you.

You can earn college credits for free while exploring various academic and career opportunities. As part of the Contra Costa County Adult Education Consortium, we team up with West Contra Costa Adult Education to provide one-on-one support throughout your journey.

We offer classes in-person, online and in-between (hybrid), and during the daytime, evenings, weekends or anytime you like (asynchronous). Just check out the class schedule for a more detailed idea of what we have to offer!

And, just like all CCC students, adult learners can take advantage of CCC’s financial and other support programs, like help with basic needs such as food, household essentials and health and wellness support.

Be More Competitive in the Workplace

We offer a wide range of options for people looking to give their resume a boost or even move into an entirely different field.

Our Career Education programs aren’t the only programs we offer, but they are a great place to start. They combine technical, job-specific skills with core academics.

Many Career Education programs offer short-term certificates that can get you job-ready or upgrade your resume in one semester or even a matter of weeks. Others are longer job-training programs designed to make you as competitive as possible in the workforce, or even prepare you to transfer to a four-year university with a focused background in your particular field of study.
