To get free groceries, stop by the Student Life office in Student + Administration Building. They’ll take you upstairs to the market and get you set up with everything you need.

And, while you’re on campus, don’t forget to pick up free breakfast and lunch on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

For free breakfasts: Come pick up free breakfast tickets in the Student Life office.

Community Produce Program

Breakfast Club

Location: Pronto; pick up a free breakfast ticket at Student Life in the Student + Administration Building, Room 101
Hours: 8:15 a.m. until tickets run out (Spring and Fall Only)

Students are able to pick up a breakfast item from the Pronto at no cost. Stop by Student Life to get more information. Free breakfast item limited to first 50 students.

Lunch Program

Location: Dining Hall
Hours: Tuesday and Wednesday starting at 12:45PM (Spring and Fall Only)

Free lunch is provided on a first come first served basis, limited to the first 150 students. No tickets needed, line will usually form prior to 12:45PM distribution time.


Food Bank Distribution

Location: In front of drop-off, pick-up area near Student + Administration Building
Hours: 1st and 3rd Monday each month from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Food bank distribution is a bimonthly no-cost on-campus produce distribution for the Contra Costa College community.

Compass Center Pop-Up

Location: In front of Student + Administration Building
Hours: Wednesdays starting at 10:30 a.m.

Produce Pop-Up is a bimonthly no-cost on-campus produce distribution for the Contra Costa College community.


CalFresh

CalFresh is a program that provides monthly food benefits to low-income Californians. CalFresh is part of the federal SNAP program and helps you buy healthy food with an EBT card. CalFresh also provides economic benefits to communities in need.
