Co-Chair
Automotive Services

Laura Lozano first came to CCC as a student, herself.

After graduating in 2010, she was a shop owner by age 21. While operating that business, she joined CCC’s automotive services advisory committee as an alumni representative. When she heard about an opening for an instructor to teach in the collision program, she decided to apply. Now, she leads the program that started her career.

Since joining CCC as a professor in 2016, she has made continuous job placement for students a top priority.

“Now, as a professor,” she says, “I get to see the back end of things, the dedication of the faculty, the staff and management. It’s just like, ‘Wow, this is why I liked coming here so much as a student. Everyone has the students in mind first.”

Professor Salas is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, staying active, and spending time with her friends and family.
