As part of our efforts to provide equal, easy access to all of our programs and services, we’ve invested a lot of resources into making sure this website as accessible as possible.

We use the UserWay Website Accessibility Widget, which is powered by a dedicated accessibility server. The software allows contracosta.edu to improve its compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).

The UserWay accessibility menu can be enabled either by pressing the tab key when the page first loads, or by selecting the accessibility menu icon that appears on the lower corner of the page. After triggering the accessibility menu, please wait a moment for the accessibility menu to load in its entirety.

Creating an accessible environment is a moral obligation that we take very seriously. So, we are constantly working to make sure that all of our services are up to date and meet the latest standards for accessibility. We regularly scan www.contracosta.edu, proactively searching for any mistakes or barriers that could prevent people from having a great experience on our site.

But, technology can be tricky, and nobody is perfect.

We want to make sure you can use the website without any trouble.

If that’s not happening, please let us know! We’ll do our best to review and fix any issues as quickly as possible.

To tell us about a problem with the website, send us an email at lwomack@contracosta.edu. And, remember, you can always contact Disability Services for help accessing any of our programs and services. We look forward to hearing from you and helping you out!
