Parking

Contra Costa College provides on-campus parking for students and staff. You must have a permit to park anywhere on campus, whether in a parking lot or on any streets or roads on campus, including Campus Drive and Mission Bell Drive.

At enrollment, you should receive a copy of the parking rules and regulations, with a map denoting parking areas for students. Additional copies are available from the Admissions & Records Office or from the cashier in Student Services Center, Room 115.  Anyone who parks on campus will be held accountable for knowing these rules and regulations.

Parking permits are required for student parking lots and roads on campus. All permits must be displayed in plain view with all numbers and markings clearly visible. It is the responsibility of the vehicle’s register owner to make sure the permit is properly displayed. From 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday: Students with parking permits may park only in Lots 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 10, 14, 15, 16, 17 (non staff spaces only), Parking Annex (non staff spaces only), Castro Street, Mission Bell Drive, and Upper Campus Drive between Lot 14 and the Early Learning Center. After 4:00 p.m.: After 4:00 p.m., certain faculty/staff lots, but not all, are available for students with parking permits. These lots are identified with special signs. These include only Lots 4, 5, 10, 15, and Upper Campus Drive between Lot 12 and Lot 14. If you park in any other faculty/staff lots after 4:00 p.m., you may be ticketed.

DMV Permitted Blue Parking Zones: These special parking spaces are designated for persons with disabilities who have DMV permits. If you are temporarily disabled, you may obtain a temporary permit from the DMV with a medical authorization from your doctor. Persons with disabilities who have permits may park in any legal parking space on campus. It is a parking violation to park in a disabled-designated space without a permit.

Parking for the Fall semester 2024 will require a physical semester permit or daily permit. Semester permits must be displayed in plain view with all numbers and markings clearly visible.

Semester permits are $48 for the semester, and daily permits are $3 per day. Both semester and daily permits can be purchased through Insite or MyCampusPermit.com starting in August. Failure to obtain a valid parking permit will result in a citation. For help with your permit, call 1-800-700-4417 or visit MyCampusPermit.com

Staff and faculty will receive a two-year physical permit by mail upon checkout.  Employees will have the option to print a temporary permit under the “My Permits” tab for use until the physical permit arrives.

Students, staff and faculty will need to provide their vehicle License Plate Number, Make, Model, and Color of the vehicle. If you will be driving a different vehicle during the FALL TERM, you will need to update your vehicle information HERE or call 1-800-700-4417 BEFORE parking on campus.

Faculty/staff parking stalls require a valid employee permit.

Contra Costa College offers a student parking permit to allow parking in student parking lots and roads on campus. You may purchase a term-length parking permit through the Insite Portal.
